Let’s support venues that are sketcher-friendly by partaking of their good food while we sketch their unusual and unique interior. So be generous, be considerate of the establishment and their customers and show the world how sketching can help everyone to be happy! Lunch will be here after our 12:30PM regrouping for sharing and photos.
As you may guess, the brick building was originally a fire station – built in 1907 (and now on the National Registry of Historical Places). It has many interesting features to sketch indoors or out (if the weather permits).

Cabela's Lacy

While the address is Lacy, the I-5 exit is just 20 minutes past the Tacoma Dome. It is "located near the junction of I-5 and Marvin Road at the Lacey Gateway Project in the Hawks Prairie business district."
Meet at 10 am just inside the front lobby.
"The impressive 185,000-sq.-ft. retail showroom is both an educational and entertainment attraction, featuring an indoor archery test area, museum-quality animal displays and huge aquariums stocked with local fish."
After sharing sketches, we'll have lunch in the on-site cafe.
