The Urban Sketchers Tacoma show at the Foss Waterway Seaport Museum is set up and ready for our close up! The title is "Sketching Tacoma and Beyond". This poster was made by Mark Ryan.
Monday was drop-off day. KaCe and crew (Bob and Lori) were organized... right down to a sign on the door so we'd be sure to go in the correct one.
On Tuesday another crew hung the show. Mark directed Bob, Lori and myself. Kace stopped by to deliver the labels. We had it mostly finished in about 2 hours. After a lunch break we put the final touches on it. I learned a lot of good tips on how to hang a show!
The opening reception is Thursday, October 18 from 5-8pm during Tacoma Art Walk. Foss Waterway Seaport Musuem, 705 Dock St, Tacoma, WA 98402.
USk Tacoma sketchers are invited to come sketch and interact with the public during the reception.
