First Saturday, September 7: Chambers Bay Central Meadow/Chambers Creek Regional Park

The above is the address to the entrance to the park. You'll have to then drive in on a park road to our meeting place.See map just below.
Meet at 10 am at the restroom building next to the parking lot.
The park has Puget Sound views, building ruins (Pioneer Sand and Gravel Plant), lots of parking and nice bathroom facilities. There is a wide walking trail loop (paved) with lots of room on the sides of the path for sketchers to set up chairs and not be in the way.

Second Thursday, September 12: Crescent Creek Park
Changed from Sept 5, as first announced, to Sept 12.

Crescent Creek Park is at the head of Gig Harbor, it has marsh and old growth vistas, stone buildings, playgrounds and a totem pole.
Directions
From the south:
16 W to Gig Harbor downtown/waterfront exit, go straight at top of ramp onto Stinson follow to Harborview, turn left onto Harborview, turn right just after the Harbor History Museum and continue around the Harbor to Vernhardson, turn right and the park is on the left after a couple of houses.
From the north:
16 E to Brogan, go 1/2 way around all the circles until you pass Heron’s Key(tall buildings) 1/4 around circle onto Peacock Hill Road, going down the hill watch for Vernhardson sign on right, turn left go to stop sign at Harborview Park is just a little farther on right.

Third Wednesday, September 18: Soos Creek Botanical Garden
29308 132nd Ave SE, Auburn, WA 98092
The entrance is easy to miss...watch closely for the sign.
Meet at 10 am in the parking lot.
There are several habitats and structures to sketch, including a pond and a garden.
If you want to stay for lunch, bring a sack lunch which we can eat outside the garden (no food allowed in the garden).
