When I arrived at the Old Ferry Landing in Gig Harbor, there was an appreciated small break in rain. I got to work quicky, using my paintbrush to sketch the greyed scene. Using direct watercolor was a good approach for speed and the increasing rain on my umbrella promoted swift paint strokes.
Within 30 minutes, I was finished painting and packed up.

The 2nd Thursday in July will be held at the Eddon Boat Park in Gig Harbor. More details to follow. We should have more favorable weather by then.
Well done! I'm surprised there was any break in the rain. I think it never stopped at my house!
