Historic
Meeker Mansion, on the National Register of Historic homes, is a 17
room Italianate Victorian Mansion. Eliza Jane Meeker, wife of Ezra
Meeker (Hops king of the Puyallup Valley and a founder of Puyallup) was
tired of more primitive living, and after a trip to Europe decided to
have this house built. It took 3 years to build and was finished in
1890.
