Once again we'll have opportunity to do sketches on the Maritime theme for our upcoming show at this venue.

There are many interesting exhibits inside the Museum. The area also has a good view of the seaport and if the weather is good there will be many sketching opportunities outside.

Second Thursday July 12, Port of Bremerton Marine Park
Port Orchard, just south of town center. Meeting at 10 am at Gazebo in Park. Harbor and historic town with lots of sketching options.
There is no street address listed for this park.
From the south:
16 west to first Port Orchard exit:160 E, right into Sedgwick Road, left at light onto Bethel, got 2 lights, 1/2 way around circle, 1 light watch for Gazebo visible on right from the road, turn right. Caution when parking, do not use permit spots.
From North:
3 south to 16 East, stay left for Port Orchard Rt 166 exit, drive through town, turn left into Amy’s Restaurant parking area. Do not park in permit spots.

We'll have guests from the Washington Art Education Associations joining us. Kate will meet with them prior to our meeting time to orient them to Urban Sketching. They will be visual art teachers.
Parking: There is a small lot next to the store for customers. Otherwise, park for free at Freight House Square station or the paid lot by the History Museum, then hop onto the trolley and get off at the Theater District trolley stop. From there, though, it's several blocks, uphill, to the store. Paid Street parking with a 2 hour limit.
