First Saturday, August 3: Fireman's Park

Fireman's Park provides views of Commencement Bay, Mt. Rainier, and the Port of Tacoma. Fireman’s Park also features two public art installations
Meet at 10 am at the Totem Pole, in the park just off the corner of A St and S. 9th St.
There is parking along A Street

Second Thursday, August 8: Narrows Park
502 Lucille Pkwy NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98335
Views of Narrows Bridge, University Place, South Sound islands and boats.
Meet at 10 am in the parking area.
From the north take last exit before the Narrows Bridge, 36th Street. At top of ramp proceed to light, turn left and curve around to Jahn, after stop sign proceed to Stone Drive, turn left, follow around go straight on Lucille drive to 1502, turn right at Narrows Park sign.
From South, take first exit after Narrows Bridge, left at top of ramp/light, at Jahn turn left and follow above directions.

Third Wednesday, August 21: Thea's Park
535 Dock St, Tacoma, WA 98402
Located just north of “Rock the Dock” restaurant, where we've shared lunch many times.
A giant globe creates an instantly recognizable landmark from land or sea. We can watch ships and tugboats, cranes working at the Port, and have views of the historic warehouses and the Murray Morgan Bridge.
Meet at 10 am by the rock marker.
There is parking next to the park
