Meet at the event at 6:00 pm
Once again, the Pierce County Aids Foundation (PCAF) has invited us to have an evening sketch-out during the annual observance of World Aids Day on Sunday, December 1st.
The program is at the Washington State History Museum, from 6-7:30 pm. This event is in remembrance of all who’ve died of AIDS and to support for those living with HIV.
The sketching opportunities: This year be in the Auditorium and they are planning a performance based program.
There is parking in the lot by the Museum for a fee or free parking at the Freight House Square garage and use of the free trolley which stops in front of the Museum.

First Saturday, Saturday, December 7: Hotel Murano
1320 Broadway, Tacoma, WA 9840
Enjoy the holiday decorations in the hotel lobby. Meet in the lobby at 10 am.
The hotel is named after the Italian island which has been home to glassblowers. The hotel itself houses a collection of glass art. The halls of each floor feature a different artist.
We have a reservation for lunch in the hotel restaurant, "Bite".
There is a fee lot next to the hotel. Or take the light rail from Freighthouse Square.

Third Wednesday, December 18: Old Cannery

We will gather for announcements at 10 am between the Ye Olde Fudge Shoppe and the Elvis statue. There's seating there and free hot beverages available close by.
There's ample parking, by the front door and in huge parking lots across the street.
Large furniture showroom with playful elements like a fudge maker & an overhead toy train. There is an overabundance of holiday decorations!

Just received information that for the Dec 1 Ad Hoc event at the WA History museum, free parking is available for all guests the night of the event in the Washington State History Museum parking lot.
ReplyDeleteWhen people arrive at the museum, they will have a volunteer at the entrance with parking passes that can be put in cars.
