We visited the Pacific Bonsai Museum in Federal Way, WA today. We were there for a special exhibit of Dave Creek's tree houses built into bonsai trees. While he considered building them in live trees, he thought it would be too difficult to maintain the tree. So these trees are all deceased. Unfortunately, he died in a hang gliding accident in 2021
I first sketched one of the 5 tree houses with a hint of the others in cases next to it.
I then found a 40 year old Gravenstein Apple bonsai in bloom. The info card said the apples would be full sized but would have to be removed.
