We met at Fort Nisqually for the first time in a few years. It seemed everyone had fun and found something interesting to sketch. It was perfect weather which felt very much like spring…sunny at almost 60 degrees.
I'd sketched this tree in the past but did so again as it was in bloom. The blossoms didn't quite look like cherry but the bark seemed characteristic. The building is the smokehouse.
