Urban Sketchers Tacoma gathered at the LeMay Family Collection. This isn't the glistening big LeMay museum next to the Tacoma Dome. This is a less formal place but there are still so many vehicles!
I wandered around a bit. Finally found the dragons! The big green dragon was not positioned well enough for me to get a vantage point for a sketch. So the 1957 DeSoto Custom Roadster was my subject. It was designed by Richard Fletcher, "builder of cars for the cinema and actors". This vehicle, known as "Gothic Coach", is a tribute to Alice Cooper.
