Maritime Fest - Foss Waterway Seaport


Enjoyed working on my farmer's tan attending the Maritime Fest in beautiful weather. Great getting the opportunity to sketch with fellow sketchers Lori, KaCe, Alison and AJ on the Urban Sketchers Tacoma boardwalk tables.

The tug sketch was done with non-waterproof ink and using a brush with clear water to create shadows and values. Finished with watercolor.

Tank farm was done in a larger Canson 140lb watercolor book, washes and ink.
