We met at Knutson Farms for a short notice, ad hoc, outing to sketch the sunflowers. The season sneaked up on us!
I wanted to both show the flowers and the location, so I sat on the ground under a tall flower with a view of the old truck.
I wandered around making several photos. Then I went back in the covered area to sketch a nice arrangement of plants and flowers.
It was surprisingly cool. It was 63 degrees when I was sketching the sunflower. Most of us wore our jackets until about 1pm, when we stood for our group photo.
