We had a wonderful morning to sketch and explore the Point Ruston Public Market. There were plenty of indoor decorations and vendor displays to sketch on a flooded December day.

The morning after the "bomb cyclone" weather system hit Western Washington, a few intrepid members met at the Waterfront Ruston Market. I was the only one who'd lost power over night.
The market seemed a little more sparse. It was already decorated for the holidays so I found a couple subjects to sketch.

Since the market is decorated so festive in the winter, we are planning to have the next 2nd Thursday, December 14 sketch outing here next month.
Liz and Lori met at Point Ruston Public Market this morning. The Fardell Farms has a great selection and display of pumpkins, produce and gourds. We were both drawn to this subject. (pun intended).

Today was a rainy day outdoors. It was a perfect day to sketch indoors for our 2nd Thursday Urban Sketcher outing. Our group of seven enjoyed the sights of vendor displays, smells of samples cooking, and the opportunity to sketch activity at the market.

We had a grand time this morning for our 2nd Thursday Urban Sketcher outing. The market was decked out in holiday decorations. We were joined with members of the South Sound Urban Sketchers and members of the Tacoma Arts and Craft group.
